Online gaming firm Casumo, which is based in Malta, has announced an expansion into the UK sports betting market.
The company is set to release a new sportsbook that UK players can access through their desktop, mobile devices and the Casumo Sports app. And according to Casumo, the new platform will give punters the ability to choose their favourite leagues and sports to customise their betting.
Speaking about the new product, the UK Country Manager for Casumo, Greg Tatton-Brown, said that it was a sports betting platform tailored to UK customers:
“I am excited to be able to bring Casumo’s approach to UK sports fans. We have put the player front and centre in the development of a sportsbook product that is approachable and user-friendly.”
At the same time as this launch of a new UK-facing platform, the firm has also given more details of how its ongoing relationship with Championship football team Reading FC has been helping good causes. Casumo have worked on a range of initiatives, including supporting events such as the Rainbow Laces Campaign and Remembrance Day.
The company also promoted the gambling charity GamCare’s high profile BigDeal Programme, through prominent messaging throughout the Madejski Stadium during a recent Championship game against Birmingham City. And according to Casumo, the promotion helped to raise more than £3,000 for the charity.
Casumo also supported the Rainbow Laces campaign, designed to promote LGBTQ rights and to tackle homophobia. The front of shirt design on the Reading shirts was altered to reflect the Rainbow Laces campaign and shirts were subsequently donated to a local LGBTQ charity.
The Chief Executive of Reading, Nigel Howe, said that he was delighted to see a gambling company using their sponsorship opportunity to promote good causes and that he hoped others would follow.
